The Feelgood Treat Company was established in North Vancouver, British Columbia in 1999. It was then that Feelgood introduced its first product; the “Original Liver Brownie”, a fresh frozen, semi-moist treat designed to be used for training and as a reward to reinforce good behaviour. Over the decade that followed, the Feelgood Treat Company expanded its offering from a single treat at a single store to creating and manufacturing more than 25 different treats, sold in more than 600 stores across Canada.

Our pets are a huge part of our day.  We feed them, play with them, teach them, and care for them. They are important members of our family.  Our mission is to make treats that people can truly “feel good” about giving their dogs, cats and horses.  We believe that Feelgood Treats are the finest, best-tasting treats available anywhere in North America. All of our products are handmade with carefully chosen, all natural and/or certified organic, hormone/antibiotic-free, and non-genetically modified ingredients. Our treats are also preservative-free.

Feelgood’s Facility
The Feelgood Treat Company’s bakery is located in Delta, British Columbia. This 3500 sq. ft. facility is operated using commercial bakery equipment and standards. Our bakery is fully equipped with modern commercial freezers, food processors, mixers, ovens and sanitation equipment. We consistently maintain or exceed safe food handling procedures and health safety standards as established by local health authorities.

Feelgood’s Staff
Our Bakery Operations Manager is a certified French pastry chef and baker with papers in culinary arts. All Feelgood team members are trained in, and follow, safe food handling practices and procedures which helps to ensure the highest level of food safety and product quality in the industry.

Feelgood’s Ingredients
The Feelgood Treat Company works tirelessly to source and select only the finest human-grade, all natural and/or certified organic ingredients from all over the world. Our ruminant ingredients are naturally raised, using either organic or certified organic standards; our poultry is naturally raised, free from antibiotics or growth hormones. All of our other ingredients are naturally grown and/or certified organic and free of any genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Feelgood’s Packaging
Each batch of our treats is personally inspected for consistency, double-sifted to remove any crumbs and then hand-packed to ensure the highest quality is maintained for each and every package. Our treats are packaged in sizes ranging from 113g (1/4 lb) “pocket packs” to 1kg (2.2lb) economy bags. All of our products come with a guaranteed analysis, and our packaging features a lot number and GTIN12 UPC code for ease of use with automated inventory management systems. Our recent packaging change features a new, natural kraft paper, PLA lined stand-up pouch with resealable zip-style closure, a heat-sealed tear notch and a window.
